A trained photojournalist turned videographer and editor, I have been shooting pictures for over 20 years. Photojournalism led me to work for various publications including the Toronto Star, The National Post, Maclean's Magazine, Toronto Life, Chatelaine and The Globe and Mail - where I most recently spent two and a half years on staff. I left the Globe and Mail in November of 2010 to return to freelance work in both stills and video, and am thrilled to be taking on new and exciting clients and projects all the time. What inspires me as a person inspires me as a shooter -- a good story, a passionate moment, the light of the sun, the depth in the shadows. I aim to uncover something with my work, to shed light on moments otherwise unnoticed. |
